What You’ll Be Doing:
- Ensure our business activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.
- Work independently on a wide range of legal tasks, including corporate governance, contract management, risk mitigation, and day-to-day legal matters impacting operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Corporate Governance: Guide on corporate structuring, entity management, board governance, and regulatory compliance in the APAC region.
- Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts such as NDAs, vendor agreements, SLAs, and more.
- Risk Management: Identify legal risks and advise on practical strategies for mitigation.
- Mergers & Acquisitions: Support legal due diligence and integration efforts for M&A, joint ventures, and investment deals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams including HR, Finance, Compliance, Operations, and Procurement to align legal counsel with business objectives.
What We’re Looking For:
- Must-Have Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university.
- Licensed to practice law in India.
- 3–5 years of legal experience, including at least 3 years in a corporate legal department or a top-tier law firm.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate and contract law, and relevant regulatory landscapes.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to operate independently.
- A business-oriented mindset, aligning legal advice with commercial goals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
