DKL Advocates is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Junior Corporate Associate to join our expanding corporate and securities law team. This role is ideal for candidates with a foundational grasp of SEBI regulations, general corporate law, and mutual fund compliance. This position offers extensive learning opportunities through direct exposure to regulatory filings, commercial contract drafting, and capital markets advisory work.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal support and guidance on SEBI regulations, including ICDR, LODR, Takeover Code, Insider Trading, and Mutual Fund Regulations.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing commercial contracts such as shareholder agreements, NDAs, service agreements, and vendor contracts.
- Support mutual fund and AIF structuring, including compliance and documentation for investment managers.
- Conduct preliminary legal due diligence on M&A and fund-related transactions under supervision.
- Coordinate with regulatory bodies like SEBI and RBI for filings, clarifications, and submissions.
- Stay current with legal and regulatory updates relevant to capital markets and securities law.
- Prepare legal notes, compliance tools, and advisory briefs under senior guidance.
- Help manage client communications and track deliverables alongside the senior legal team.
