About Opportunity: Dr. Justice Dhananjaya Y. Chandrachud, former Chief Justice of India, is looking to appoint two Junior Associates on a retainership basis for his office.

Educational Qualification: Must hold a law degree (3-year or 5-year course) from a recognized university.

Eligibility: Open to fresh graduates from the Class of 2025 up to candidates with four years of post‐qualification experience (PQE).

Probation Period: Initial probation of three months.

Retainership Duration: Engagement for one year, extendable upon mutual agreement.

Remuneration: A monthly retainership of INR 1,00,000.

Conditions of Engagement: This is an exclusive retainership, meaning selected candidates must maintain strict confidentiality and are not permitted to undertake independent legal work, including filing vakalatnamas or appearing in any legal forum.

Location: The position is based in Delhi.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Legal research and drafting.
  • Assisting in the preparation of legal opinions, speeches, articles, and books.
  • Supporting domestic and international arbitration work.
