National Law University Delhi (NLUD) is one of India’s premier law universities, known for its academic excellence and research in various areas of law. The university regularly undertakes advanced research projects in collaboration with national and international institutions. This position is offered under a research project titled “Reparations and Victim-Centred Justice under International Criminal Law,” funded by the Research Endeavour Grant (N-REG) 2025–26.
NLUD is inviting applications for the position of Research Associate on a full-time contractual basis. The selected candidate will assist the Project Director in conducting research related to reparations jurisprudence and victim-centred justice within the framework of international criminal law.
Roles and Responsibilities:- Assisting the Project Director in research related to international criminal law
- Conducting research on substantive and procedural aspects of international criminal law
- Supporting analysis and documentation related to reparations jurisprudence
- Assisting in preparing research outputs, reports, and academic materials related to the project
- Law graduate (LL.B. or B.A. LL.B.) and LL.M. (appearing or completed) from a recognized Indian or foreign university with a good academic record
- At least one peer-reviewed publication in a reputed journal
- Prior research experience in international law will be an advantage
- Knowledge of substantive and procedural international law
- Proficiency in English and MS Office
