About the Internship

The Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs & Trade Marks (CGPDTM), under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, invites applications for the Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Internship Programme.

Eligibility

  • Students (UG/PG) in Law, Science, Engineering & related fields (who have completed their course)
  • Research Scholars with an interest in IPR
  • Professionals seeking exposure to IPR frameworks

Duration

  • Online: 30 days (one daily session)
  • Offline: 30 days (UG students) | 45 days | 6 months | up to 12 months (as per discretion of CGPDTM)

Key Objectives

  • Exposure to IP administration
  • Understanding of IP laws, rules & procedures
  • Promoting research in IPR aligned with national policy
  • Hands-on training through available facilities
