With nearly 26 years of service in the Indian Air Force, he retired in 2012 from Air Headquarters as the Joint Judge Advocate General (Air).

Ajit Kakkar & Associates is inviting applications for its Litigation Internship Program, available for durations of 3 or 6 months, starting from 1st July 2025. This program is ideal for aspiring litigators seeking practical legal exposure, particularly in Military and Service Law.
