RBI offers summer placements for students to work on projects relevant to central banking under the guidance of RBI experts. Positions are suited for postgraduate and undergraduate students in fields like Management, Statistics, Law, Commerce, Economics, Econometrics, Banking, and Finance.

  • Students holding three‑year full‑time professional bachelor’s degree in Law from reputed institutions / colleges located in India
  • Students who are currently in the penultimate year of their course can only apply for the summer placement

Rs. 20,000 per month.

Application Procedure

Candidates must apply online through the RBI web‑based application form from October 15 to December 15. Internships start April next year. Only one control office application is allowed based on location.
