  • Exemptions from NET/SLET/SET may apply for candidates awarded Ph.D. before July 11, 2009, subject to specific criteria, including:
    • Regular Ph.D. mode
    • External evaluation of the thesis
    • Open viva voce
    • Two publications from Ph.D. research (at least one in a refereed journal)
    • Two presentations at funded academic events
  • Alternatively, Ph.D. holders from top 500 global universities (as per QS, THE, or ARWU rankings) are also eligible.
