Eligibility
The opportunity is open to law graduates holding qualifications such as LL.B, LL.M, B.A. LL.B, or B.B.A. LL.B with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of IBC laws and regulations along with practical knowledge of NCLT procedures and IBBI compliance requirements. Excellent drafting skills, strong communication abilities, and a detail-oriented approach are essential. Prior exposure to Corporate Insolvency Resolution Processes (CIRP) and liquidation matters will be considered an added advantage. This role is well-suited for candidates who are eager to work on complex insolvency cases and contribute to formulating effective resolution strategies under the IBC framework.
Role
As an Associate in the IBC team at RB Lawcorp, the selected candidate will have the opportunity to engage in a wide range of responsibilities related to insolvency proceedings. This includes assisting in the verification of claims submitted by Financial Creditors, Operational Creditors, and Workmen/Employees, supporting the constitution and management of Stakeholders Consultation Committee (SCC) meetings, and drafting essential documents. The associate will also help prepare key reports such as the Asset Memorandum, Preliminary and Progress Reports, Stakeholders’ lists, and Sale Notices including e-auction documentation. In addition, the role involves active participation in Committee of Creditors (CoC) and SCC meetings, including drafting notices, agendas, and minutes. Drafting and filing pleadings, applications, and replies before the Hon’ble NCLT and other forums form a significant part of the role, making this an excellent platform to strengthen both litigation and advisory skills in insolvency law.
