Shri Shivaji Law College, managed by Shri Shivaji Mofut Education Society, Kandhar, was founded on the occasion of Shiv Jayanti in 1948. Located in Kandhar, a taluka in the hilly region of Nanded district, the college offers a five-year integrated B.A.LL.B programme.
Job Description
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for permanent (non-grant) teaching positions at Shri Shivaji Law College, Kandhar. These appointments are for the 5-year B.A.LL.B. course. Completed applications must be submitted within 15 days of the job advertisement. Reserved category applicants must also send a copy of their application to the Assistant Registrar, Special Cell, Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded.

Eligibility Criteria
- Assistant Professor (Law): Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in the relevant subject NET/SET qualification or Ph.D. in compliance with UGC norms (2009/2016 regulations and amendments). Candidates who registered for Ph.D. before 11 July 2009 are exempt from NET/SET if they meet additional criteria (Ph.D. awarded in regular mode, thesis evaluated by two examiners, viva voce conducted, research publications, and conference presentations).
- Assistant Professor (Political Science): Ph.D. degree from a foreign university ranked among the top 500 globally (QS, THE, or ARWU rankings).
Selection Process
Shortlisting will be based on the academic score as per UGC guidelines (Appendix II, Table 3A/3B). Final selection will depend on interview performance.
