About ADR Cell, USLLS

The ADR Cell at the University School of Law and Legal Studies (USLLS), GGSIPU, is a collaborative faculty and student-led initiative promoting awareness and engagement with Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). The Cell actively engages in research, expert interaction, and event organisation to instil a strong ADR culture among students. It also conducts campaigns to boost legal literacy and access to legal aid.

About Outreach & Extension Activities, GGSIPU

The Outreach and Extension division of GGSIPU is committed to community-based service and development. Its goal is to involve students in socially responsible projects, including legal education, consumer rights, public health advocacy, and environmental sustainability.

About the Internship

USLLS, GGSIPU in collaboration with its Outreach & Extension division, invites passionate law students to join a field-based internship focused on ADR, legal aid, and current legal issues. This opportunity offers hands-on experience through on-ground campaigns and research, culminating in the publication of a paper on the USLLS ADR Blog.

Internship Responsibilities

  • Visit NGOs, old age homes, educational institutions, and other social organisations across Delhi to raise awareness on ADR, legal aid, and relevant legal topics.
  • Conduct surveys using provided questionnaires.
  • Submit weekly reports with photographs and write-ups summarising outreach activities.
  • Collaborate with the research team for documentation and blog publication.

Eligibility

  • Open to UG law students (3-year and 5-year programs), LLM, and PhD law scholars.
  • Delhi-based students are preferred due to travel requirements.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Should demonstrate a commitment to community service.

Offline. Interns must report to USLLS, GGSIPU (Sector 16C, Dwarka, Delhi) and will be assigned outreach visits across districts in Delhi.

  • Interns must be free of academic obligations during the internship.
  • A commitment of 20 hours per week is expected.
