Role Overview
This position involves taking full responsibility for the end-to-end legal aspects related to projects, procurement, and vendor contracts within the organization. The role requires hands-on experience in contract management across key functional areas of the power and infrastructure sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the entire lifecycle of contracts related to projects, vendors, and procurement activities.
- Gain exposure to legal and contractual functions in the power and infrastructure domain, including procurement compliance, Letters of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees (BG), warranty clauses, and indemnity terms.
- Independently draft, review, and negotiate General Conditions of Contracts (GCC), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), Letters of Intent (LoIs), Letters of Award (LoAs), lender-related agreements, financial documents, and other commercial contracts.
- Oversee both pre-award and post-award contract processes, ensuring compliance, risk assessment, legal correspondence, claims, contract amendments, terminations, and closure.
- Support in dispute resolution by preparing strategic advice on pre-litigation and litigation matters, reviewing procedures, and addressing legal risks.
- Collaborate with both internal departments and external stakeholders to draft and finalize various agreements, including subcontracting agreements, joint ventures, frameworks, and consortium arrangements.
