As part of FICO\’s world-class organization, you will provide practical and solution-oriented legal advice, build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and play a vital role in achieving business goals.Key Responsibilities Draft, review, negotiate, and translate various agreements, including sales, services, subcontract, software, procurement, and non-disclosure contracts.
Review and modify contract terms related to liability, intellectual property, indemnities, license grants, and warranties in alignment with FICO policies.
Support sales and business teams with RFP processes and contract approvals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (products, services, finance) for contract-related activities.
Maintain and update contract templates, provide guidance on contract interpretation, and ensure compliance with company policies.
Identify potential risks in transactions and seek appropriate approvals to mitigate them.
Qualifications Juris Doctor degree with an active law license in good standing in any jurisdiction.
Minimum 10 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in software licensing or corporate legal departments.
Expertise in contract drafting, negotiation, and management.
Strong understanding of U.S. intellectual property laws related to software.
