WE ARE SEEKING A PASSIONATE CANDIDATE WHO:
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
- Has experience of working with children, young people, and families in a safeguarding or child protection environment
- Demonstrated a sound understanding of child protection legislation, policies, and procedures
- Can identify, assess and respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns and risks
- Builds positive and effective relationships with children, families, colleagues and partner agencies
- Possesses excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills
- Maintains accurate, timely, and confidential records and reports
- Is able to manage a varied workload, prioritise effectively, and work under pressure
- Demonstrates resilience, professionalism and sound judgement when dealing with sensitive and complex situations
- Works collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team while also being able to work independently
- Values diversity, inclusion, and equality, and is committed to supporting the needs of all children and families
- Is proactive in professional development and committed to maintaining up‑to‑date safeguarding knowledge and practice
YOUR MAIN DUTIES WOULD BE:
- To act as first point of contact and coordinate the response to Child Protection Issues
- To access support for children and families who are deemed to be vulnerable
- To manage a case load of our most vulnerable children and families and monitor and evaluate the impact of support
