Canon Medical Systems is seeking a dynamic and commercially astute Ultrasound Sales Account Manager to join our growing team and take responsibility for driving growth and customer engagement across the London region. This is a pivotal role that blends strategic account management with new business generation in a high-performing, patient-focused organisation.

In this role, you will primarily be responsible for consistently achieving or exceeding defined sales targets within your territory. You will proactively identify and convert new business opportunities, using a consultative sales approach to meet customer needs and deliver value-driven solutions.

A key part of the role involves nurturing existing relationships through regular business reviews, identifying evolving clinical and commercial needs, and ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction and retention. You will act as a trusted partner to a wide range of stakeholders, from clinical champions and procurement professionals to C-suite decision-makers, delivering tailored engagement and communication strategies that foster long-term partnerships.

You’ll manage your pipeline and territory using our CRM system, ensuring accurate tracking of leads, activities, and sales forecasting. You’ll also be expected to stay ahead of market trends, gathering and sharing relevant competitor intelligence, purchasing behaviours, and feedback to help shape our market positioning.

In addition, you will take the lead on tender submissions, including NHSSC and other procurement frameworks, ensuring all proposals are accurate, timely, and aligned with customer needs and compliance standards. As a visible ambassador for Canon Medical Systems, you’ll represent the company at key industry exhibitions, clinical events, and customer study days across the UK.

What are we looking for?

  • Proven track record of delivering results within a similar role, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent understanding of NHS procurement.
  • Pro-active approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and capable of building strong working relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), with demonstrable presentation skills.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to different working circumstances.
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills.
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email systems.
  • Full UK Driving License and comfortable travelling across the region.
  • Full and unrestricted right to work in the UK.
