We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to join our dynamic CT-MR-VL-XR-HIT Sales Team. You’ll be part of a forward-thinking team shaping the future of medical imaging. If you’re ready to take your healthcare sales career to the next level, we’d love to hear from you.
About us: At Canon Medical Systems, we offer a full range of diagnostic medical imaging solutions including CT, X-Ray, Ultrasound, MRI and are committed to delivering optimum health opportunities for patients through uncompromised performance, comfort and safety features.
Location: This is a field-based role with an expectation of 2-3 working days to be customer facing, with regular travel across the North London & East of England Territory. You will also occasionally be required to travel to anywhere in the UK or in Europe. We are looking for the successful candidate to be based within the South East area, this includes Chelmsford, Colchester, and Ilford.
About the role: As one of our Account Managers, you will be responsible for securing sales and achieving agreed sales targets on our full range of CT, MR, VL, XR and HIT systems. You will lead on all aspects of the sales process, including the delivery of presentations, site visits, negotiation and closing. This will also include participating in marketing activities, including attendance at exhibitions and events, to promote the brand and our offering.
Customer satisfaction is paramount to us and your ability to build relationships will prove vital in this role. You will foster strong relationships with key personnel in hospital departments to understand their needs and promote our equipment, with the aim of generating new business opportunities. By collaborating with our internal teams, you will devise strategies to successfully reach these opportunities and enable us to maximise our competitive advantage.

What are we looking for? You will be an experienced sales professional in the healthcare or a related sector. A proven background in high-value, capital sales with experience in managing long-term sales cycles. An excellent knowledge and understanding of the radiology industry and NHS procurement would be an advantage. Problem-solving mindset, with the desire to tackle longer-term. A strong focus on collaboration and building relationships. Excellent communication, interpersonal and team work skills. A positive and empathetic attitude, with an ability to relate to others and understand their needs. Demonstrably competent in the use of Microsoft® Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, with understanding and experience of using a CRM tool. Valid UK Driving license and comfortable travelling across the region. Full and valid right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.
