School: Canon Johnson CofE Primary School, Elgin Street, Ashton-Under-Lyne, OL7 9DD

Reporting to: Headteacher

Contract: Fixed Term – 31st August 2027

Grade: NJC 04 – NJC 06 (£25,185 - £25,989 per annum, pro rata)

Hours: 35 hours per week

Working Weeks: 43.6 working weeks (Term Time Only)

Start Date: 1st September 2026

Closing Date: 15th June 2026 – 12 noon

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and talented teaching assistant to join our dedicated staff team. We require a teaching assistant who can provide exciting and stimulating learning opportunities and support the children throughout all aspects of school life. Applicants must be committed to further enhancing the very high standards which already exist in the school and be patient and kind to support the children in their transition.
