Lead the commercial success of Canon’s cutting‑edge imaging portfolio across Europe. You’ll drive sales performance, forecasting, product allocation and business development for mirrorless cameras, lenses, video and PTZ solutions, while accelerating B2B growth opportunities. You will shape go‑to‑market strategies, analyse market trends and collaborate closely with national sales organisations and cross‑functional teams across the EU15 region. This is a high‑visibility role with direct impact on revenue, market share and profitability in one of the most dynamic areas of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Consolidate Imaging product groups business development activities, e.g. investment management, budgeting, forecasting for B2C and B2B and streamline business coordination; act as escalation point for NSO requests and issues on Imaging products.
  • Implement the sales strategy of the imaging product category across all sales channels (retail, e‑commerce) and gather approvals on investment and go‑to‑market requests from senior management.
  • Lead the monthly sales forecasting process for Imaging products, ensuring consistency across categories and aligning demand projections with business targets and market trends; take corrective actions in time.
  • Oversee demand planning by working closely with supply chain, sales and finance teams to ensure product availability aligns with forecasted demand and promotional activities.
  • Manage product allocation across channels and regions to optimize sell‑through and prevent overstock or shortages, especially during peak seasons and product launches.
  • Drive product sales development, including new product introductions, lifecycle and pricing strategies, and promotional execution in close collaboration with product management.
  • Ensure analysis of market trends (B2B/B2C), customer insights and competitor performance to inform assortment, pricing and growth strategies together with the Imaging team.
  • Coordinate with marketing on imaging cross‑product campaign planning, product launches and seasonal sales programmes, cascading to the Imaging team to ensure consistency.
  • Track category KPIs such as revenue, margin, sell‑through, attach rate and stock health/channel stock; present regular performance reviews and actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Coach and lead 5 specialists with regular communication, performance reviews and mentoring.

Qualifications

  • High skills in marketing highly technical products in a B2C and B2B environment.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to translate into operational improvements.
  • Strong commercial awareness.
  • English fluency essential; additional European languages desirable.
  • Significant sales development experience in a consumer electronics organisation.

Experience Required

  • Relevant business degree with proven experience in Product Management, Product Marketing or sales management.
  • Experience coaching and developing a team; some people‑management experience considered an advantage.
