Job Description

Canon EMEA is looking for a Product Owner to play a key role in shaping the future of our digital platforms across Europe. Working within the Imaging Technologies Consumer Group (ITCG), you\'ll lead the delivery of innovative technology solutions, driving projects from concept to launch while collaborating with cross-functional teams to create seamless, customer-focused experiences that support business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Own the successful delivery of IT projects across Canon\'s Imaging Technologies Consumer Group (ITCG), supporting the business from discovery through to launch and beyond.
  • Champion Agile ways of working, helping teams deliver high-quality digital solutions efficiently and collaboratively.
  • Act as the key liaison between business and technology teams, building strong stakeholder relationships and driving projects forward from concept to delivery.
  • Translate business needs into digital solutions, ensuring every feature delivers value for both customers and the business.
  • Guide stakeholders through the delivery process, identifying opportunities to maximise performance, innovation and customer experience.
  • Support product discovery and requirements gathering, helping shape solutions that align with strategic business objectives.
  • Lead demonstrations and gather user feedback, using insights to refine solutions before release and ensure successful adoption.
  • Coordinate successful product releases, providing post-launch support and overseeing hypercare to ensure a seamless transition into business as usual.
  • Support project governance, including business case development, CAPEX approvals, budget tracking and effective financial management.
  • Drive quality and continuous improvement, monitoring project performance, managing risks and ensuring solutions are delivered to the highest standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience delivering digital products or IT projects, with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product delivery best practices.
  • A natural collaborator, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and build strong relationships across business and technology teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to interpret data, balance customer and business needs, and make informed decisions.
  • Confident managing priorities in a fast-paced environment, with a track record of driving projects through to successful delivery.
  • Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to analyse and present data to support decision-making.
  • Hands-on experience using Jira and a good working knowledge of Confluence to manage delivery and collaboration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Business English; an additional European language would be an advantage.
  • Understanding of eCommerce, omnichannel retail or digital customer journeys is highly desirable.
  • Willingness to travel across Europe when required.

This role is paying between £54,907 -£63,366 + 10% bonus dependant on experience.
