This role allows you to provide efficient and comprehensive technical support to Canon UK and Canon Europe employees and contractors in cooperation with European Central IT Support. Responsibilities:
- Provide IT Support to Canon Europe HQ, Canon UK and Ireland employees including remote offices and field‑based employees.
- Work in a collaborative environment on IT projects with IT peers and stakeholders.
- Ensure SLA targets are met whilst providing a friendly customer‑oriented approach, escalating where required.
- Image, maintain and deploy Windows laptops, and support mobile devices (Samsung and Apple).
- Install, maintain, and upgrade IT equipment and network infrastructure, including working with external vendors for support and maintenance.
- Maintain IT assets and ensure documentation and logs are kept up to date and compliant.
- Work closely with the IT Local Support team, Service Desk team and third‑line support teams.
Qualifications:
Required skills:
- Understanding of Office 365 environment including MS Teams, One Drive and SharePoint.
- Strong understanding of IT hardware laptops/desktops, mobile devices and software.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Completion of an IT related courses, degree or apprenticeship programme.
Desirable:
- Understanding of video conferencing solutions.
- Ability to support Apple Mac devices.
- Familiarity of AI tools including Microsoft Co Pilot.
Salary up to £33,450, dependent on experience.
