Drive the growth of Canon’s office hardware and services portfolio across EMEA by leading the end-to-end marketing and business development agenda. This role is pivotal in shaping how we position and bring to market our printing and scanning solutions—enabling the Integrated Printing & Services Group (IPSG) to accelerate commercial performance and customer value. Working at the heart of Canon’s B2B organisation, you will collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing leaders across National and Regional Sales Organisations. Acting as a strategic connector, you will translate central strategy into compelling local value propositions, enabling impactful go-to-market execution, product launches, and sales activation at scale. As part of the IPSG Corporate & Public Marketing team, you will also play a key role in designing and delivering integrated, segment-led marketing programmes. By aligning the full portfolio to industry-specific needs, you will strengthen market positioning, drive demand, and deliver measurable business results.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the full office device portfolio life‑cycle marketing with a focus on creating total business value propositions that leverage the entire product range.
- Be an evangelist by clearly understanding and promoting how our technology adds value to customers and partners alike.
- Drive portfolio awareness and education into the sales channels through the NSOs/RSOs by creating engaging content about the benefits of our technology.
- Manage and update marketing and sales tools such as Web portals, webinars, video, podcasts and white papers to ensure maximum impact.
- Work with Sales and Marketing functions as a subject‑matter expert to execute relevant vertical‑specific initiatives.
- Lead the marketing and business development of new product launches and ensure GTM readiness addressing the whole value chain from direct and indirect sales through to customers, working in alignment with the wider product management and commercial team.
- Orchestrate the creation of new product collaterals and assets, working with the wider Marketing function.
- Drive L&D programmes for new products.
- Work closely with other regions to define global product business launch and marketing initiatives, and leverage expertise from other Canon entities worldwide.
- Gather and apply market insights—the voice of the market, sales channels and customers—to feed into future technology development.
- Monitor and analyze competitors’ activities, messaging, technology, portfolio, pricing, etc.
- Act as a key liaison between European HQ and National/Regional Sales Offices to support sales and support business on a daily basis in a business‑development remit for the portfolio area of competency.
- Act as key liaison with Office Business Planning & Admin to drive close collaboration and synergies.
- Act as point of contact with CINC for product marketing.
- Own and drive specific IPSG portfolio integrated marketing propositions, with particular focus on proposition development, sales enablement and market awareness for vertical/industries marketing.
Qualifications
- Professional background in B2B technology marketing with whole life‑cycle product and customer marketing experience.
- Experience with holistic go‑to‑market readiness and varying channel needs.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
