Canon UK is looking for a Key Account Manager to manage an important portfolio of photo and video specialist partners nationwide with ambitious sales growth targets to ensure we remain as the number 1 imaging brand. You will play a key role by regularly engaging internal teams and external clients, promoting our brand messaging and products USP’s to a varied account base. Your excellent relationship building and communication skills will be crucial.

In a constantly evolving market driven by technological advances, partners’ needs change rapidly, requiring quick adaptation. This role demands proactively solving partner challenges, improving processes and developing creative solutions to boost account performance and efficiency. You’ll be part of a high-performing team that thrives on collaboration and is determined to win together.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver and exceed sales targets set by the Channel Head / Director.
  • Drive effective communication and feedback between Canon and key partners.
  • Lead the full sales process, including pre-disclosure, product ranging, and promotional planning.
  • Provide accurate forecasts and improve predictability through joint sales plans.
  • Analyse account and channel metrics to identify growth opportunities.
  • Optimise account management using tools such as Oracle, Salesforce, Demantra, and PowerBI.
  • Ensure all contracts and variations are approved by relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute investment plans with other departments to maximise ROI.
  • Lead and coordinate the virtual account team, ensuring collaboration and performance improvement.
  • Maintain regular account engagement through structured in-person and remote contact.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, balancing Canon and customer interests to drive mutual success.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of Canon and competitor commercial market dynamics.
