Job Purpose and Summary As a Lead Consultant HR – Solution and Adoption, you will be responsible for leading the conversion of business process requirements into solution requirements and functional designs (data, process, technology). You will guide and approve the translation of these designs to IT solutions and drive the adoption of the resulting IT solutions. What we give Key Responsibilities: Lead the team to gather and create business process requirements, transforming them into comprehensive solution requirements for Process, Data, and Technology. Convert these solution requirements into detailed designs under the guidance of Solution Control. Evaluate the impact of the IT solutions with Business and IT stakeholders, providing accurate estimates on effort, costs, and timelines for project proposals. Advise on potential risks to shape related test plans, while adhering to design principles such as avoiding customizations and designing for flexibility. Champion the implementation and seamless adoption of the resulting IT solutions within the business. Act as the Functional Solution Guardian – Maintain the integrity of functional template boundaries (data, process, technology) and negotiate deviations with Solution Control. Provide stakeholders with expert advice on the most suitable process/IT solutions to guide requirement specifications and reduce package customizations. Champion the wave of Change Management and Adoption to unlock the full potential of our initiatives. Guide users through the evolution with expert knowledge and best practices, ensuring they embrace the solution. Collaborate with BU/Function stakeholders to establish essential metrics that give leadership crystal-clear insights into platform usage and adoption. Maintain comprehensive oversight to guarantee seamless integration of new features. Spot any early warning signals that might threaten value creation. Manage time and capacity allocation (including charging) of personal time and team members as directed by the Solution & Adoption Principal Consultant. Provide production support at the request of IT Operations and directed by the Solution & Adoption Principal Consultant. Apply Compliancy controls for the delivery of applications with evidence. Lead, manage, motivate, coach, and develop the team; in line with Canon’s policies and processes, and with proactive initiative. Share good practice across IT and support people-related initiatives within IT. Contribute and adhere to solutioning policies, principles, and standards. Contribute to the Domains and Communities of Practice. Maintain the IT knowledge base of the Domain (baseline documentation). Develop project leadership and management skills. Serve as best practice/quality resource within Domain, guide team members in resolving complex issues, train/mentor junior team members. Manage ERP COE projects as a project assignment. Key Relationships: Internal: Business Unit HR (function stakeholders), HR IT Design Office and Solution Control (domain architecture), Enterprise IT (IT Compliance, IT Security, Corporate PMO, Data Privacy Champion) External: Technology vendors, IT delivery and operations support vendors Performance Measures: Clear, complete, and accurate requirements and functional designs. Best fitting process/IT solutions with minimal customizations. Clear, complete, and accurate impact assessments. IT solutions and related test plans in line with functional designs. User adoption of the IT solution. Maintained IT knowledge base of assigned Domain areas. Project commitments and expectations are met. What we ask Personal Specification: Education in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field. A Master\\\\\\\’s Degree is a plus. Over 10 years’ experience in IT, with 5 years relevant experience in HR Transformation and an excellent track record managing large process/IT projects preferably across multiple countries. Excellent Project Management skills. Adept at creating and transforming business requirements into functional requirements and designs. Exceptional problem-solving and sound decision-making capabilities, recognized by alternative solutions, and confident, accurate, decision-making coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Solid understanding and experience with relevant HR integrated landscape processes and applications like Core HR, Payroll, Recruitment and Onboarding on Oracle Fusion HCM, Integration and Datawarehouse concepts and HR Reporting. Experience with best practice methodologies like SAFe, Scrum, User Story writeup and related tooling like Jira. Recognized as an expert in own area within the organization. Provides specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise. Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends solutions/best practices. Solves complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify solutions. Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations.
