Job Purpose and Summary

Canon is on the lookout for a Facilities Operations Specialist—a key player who will take charge of contract management and operational facilities activities to ensure the smooth, efficient, and cost-effective operation of Canon’s headquarters.

Imagine being at the heart of it all, collaborating closely with suppliers and departments to maintain the facility\’s impeccable standards. Your expertise in facilities management and contract handling will shine as you navigate the day-to-day challenges and opportunities that come with this dynamic role.

As a pivotal member of the Facilities Management team, you\’ll not only be managing FM suppliers for soft services but also supporting hard service contracts. Ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards will be second nature to you, as you help develop preventive maintenance strategies and oversee the preparation and renewal of soft service contracts.

Day to Day Management of FM suppliers (cost, quality, timeliness) for soft services and key support to hard service contracts.

This includes the supervision of the day-to-day activities of the regional Canon UK sites and services.

  • Support the execution of hard services and maintenance contracts.
  • Support the development of preventive maintenance strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards in all maintenance activities.

Support the preparation and construction of soft service contract renewals and amendments

Consult with internal stakeholders to ensure in-time solutions to facilities management related changes

Supporting the UK Facilities Manager as required

Work closely with other departments and stakeholders to ensure the facility is managed and maintained to the highest standard

Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers, including contractors, suppliers’ personnel, ensuring timely delivery of services and adherence to quality and compliance standards.

Health, safety & sustainability compliance: Ensure support to hard services specialist on compliance and all health, safety, and environmental regulations/Actions required to maintain a safe and secure workplace.

Ensuring the support to maintain ambitious standards are delivered for VIP and HQ events, working with event and VIP stakeholders to deliver customer needs and bespoke services to meet the needs of the VIP/Event
