Canoe is a creative communications agency working across PR, Social, Talent, Strategy, Production/Experiential and Creative. We’re proud to represent some of the most exciting brands in fashion, lifestyle, sport and the outdoors.
We’re looking for a motivated and ambitious Account Assistant to join our team. This is an entry-level role, ideal as a first step into the industry. You’ll gain hands-on experience supporting client teams, contributing to campaigns and working directly with leading global brands. A degree is not required. What matters most is curiosity, initiative and a passion for culture.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Account Support
- Support day-to-day account activity across a range of fashion, lifestyle, sport and outdoor clients.
- Assist account teams with campaign planning, timelines and project coordination.
- Help prepare meeting agendas, contact reports and status updates.
- Support with research, reporting and competitor analysis.
- Media, Stylist and Talent Relations
- Assist with media outreach and relationship management across editors, stylists, influencers and talent.
- Support product requests, press loans, celebrity dressing opportunities and gifting initiatives.
- Help coordinate appointments, meetings and brand experiences.
- Maintain accurate media, influencer and talent databases.
- Sample Management
- Oversee check-in and check-out of samples for press pulls, shoots and influencer gifting.
- Ensure accurate logging of all outgoing and returned samples, flagging missing or damaged items.
- Coordinate courier shipments and track deliveries and returns.
- Support showroom organisation and ensure collections are presented to a high standard.
- Events and Activations
- Assist with planning and execution of press days, launches, influencer events and brand activations.
- Support guest list management, RSVPs and on-site hosting.
- Help prepare press kits, gifting and event collateral.
- Content and Communications
- Prepare product information, imagery and lookbooks for media requests.
- Assist with content creation for social channels, newsletters and agency communications.
- Monitor media coverage and support reporting across client accounts.
- Administration
- Maintain calendars, meeting schedules and key account documents.
- Provide ad hoc administrative support across client teams as required.
- Manage office supplies and support the smooth day-to-day running of the agency.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
