As an Account Executive, Institutions at Canoe Intelligence, you will develop and execute strategies to identify, engage, and close new business opportunities within our Institutional Segment. The position's primary goal will be to drive revenue growth by establishing strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target institutions.

What You’ll Do:

  • Identify and target potential Nordic-based Institutional clients, including (but not limited to) Pension Funds, Asset Managers, Fund of Funds, Secondary Funds, Insurance companies etc.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through proactive prospecting and lead generation activities.
  • Conduct thorough research to understand the needs, pain points, and priorities of prospective clients.
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the value of Canoe Intelligence's solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales engineering, business development, marketing, and client success, to ensure a seamless client onboarding and implementation process.
  • Negotiate contract terms and pricing agreements to drive successful deal closures.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to the sales management team.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes that impact the institutional sector.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ year track record of success in SaaS, fintech or financial services sales in the Nordics region.
  • Strong knowledge of the private market investment industry, including key players, industry regulations, and market trends.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with senior-level decision makers and influencers.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on driving revenue growth.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales productivity tools.
  • MBA highly preferred.
