This role owns high-value, strategic retail partnerships characterised by complex, data-driven buying models. You will be the primary driver for long-term growth, focusing on joint planning and forecasting to ensure our brands excel in a competitive, multicategory market.
About Pon.Bike UK: Pon.Bike UK is home to Santa Cruz, Cervélo, Cannondale, Reserve, OneUp, and Nimbl — six of the most exciting brands in the cycling industry. With over 25 years of experience, the team is focused on delivering the best road and mountain bikes in the world while keeping things fun along the way.
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage high value, strategic retailers who operate data driven buying models rather than traditional transactional methods.
- Focus on long-term category growth through joint business planning, ranging, and accurate forecasting.
- Deliver industry standard capability to ensure our brands remain competitive in a high-SKU, multi-category market.
- Actively build and strengthen relationships with key national retail partners to maximise growth opportunities.
- Unlock growth across our full portfolio of brands within national retail environments.
- Drive both sell-in and sell-through by interpreting data and providing actionable insights to partners.
Skills and Requirements:
- Proven experience in strategic account management or a high level sales role, preferably in cycle, outdoor or other related technical product industries.
- Strong Excel skills and a high level of confidence working with complex data sets.
- Excellent organisational and problem solving skills to manage large-scale accounts.
- Strong attention to detail and professional time management.
- Effective communicator, comfortable building relationships and presenting across multiple businesses and departments.
- A proactive, adaptable mindset with a genuine interest in the cycling industry.
- Skilled at identifying, analyzing and interpreting data and information.
