Cannonball Recruiting is a U.S.-based recruiting firm that provides recruiting and staffing services to construction, manufacturing, industrial, and skilled trades companies. We help businesses find hard-to-reach talent such as welders, fabricators, machinists, maintenance technicians, millwrights, supervisors, and other skilled labor professionals.

We are looking for a remote SDR/BDR to help sell our recruiting services to U.S.-based construction, manufacturing, and industrial companies. This role will focus on generating new client opportunities through cold calling, warm lead follow-up, LinkedIn outreach, CRM management, and outbound sales sequences. You will be contacting business owners, HR leaders, operations managers, plant managers, and hiring managers to introduce Cannonball Recruiting and book qualified sales meetings.

This is not just a script-reading role. We want someone who has experience developing sales strategies, testing messaging, researching prospects, and using a combination of CRM, LinkedIn, automation tools, and phone calls to create sales opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Sell recruiting and staffing services to U.S.-based construction, manufacturing, industrial, and skilled trades companies
  • Make outbound cold calls to potential client companies
  • Follow up with warm leads from email, LinkedIn, and outbound sequences
  • Contact business owners, HR leaders, operations managers, plant managers, and hiring managers
  • Manage and update CRM records, notes, follow-ups, and pipeline activity
  • Research companies and decision-makers using LinkedIn and other tools
  • Help improve outbound messaging, call strategy, and sales process
  • Book qualified sales meetings with potential clients
  • Provide feedback on objections, market response, and lead quality
Requirements
  • Must be available to work 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday–Friday
  • Experience in outbound sales, cold calling, or business development
  • Strong spoken and written English
  • Experience using a CRM
  • Experience with LinkedIn prospecting and sales automation tools
  • Ability to work independently and manage follow-up consistently
  • Comfortable speaking with U.S.-based business owners, managers, HR leaders, and executives

  • Experience selling services to U.S. companies
  • Familiarity with the U.S. business market
  • Construction, manufacturing, industrial, staffing, recruiting, or skilled trades experience
