The predicted salary is between 22050 - 26950 £ per year.
We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic individual to join our friendly and supportive team. This will be a dual role consisting of assisting with the preparation of VAT returns and taking these transactions to the trial balance stage, along with preparation of financial statements from clients' records. There will also be ad-hoc administrative and payroll duties.
A good knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping and VAT is required. Experience working in practice and on Xero would be an advantage.
The successful candidate will be:
- Comfortable working in an office environment; both independently and as part of a team.
- Punctual and able to present themselves in a professional manner.
- A good communicator, able to discuss and express technical issues in an easily understandable manner both with clients and other team members.
- Happy to work as part of a team and assist with ad-hoc duties to aid the smooth running of the practice and enhance the client experience, including but not limited to: answering the telephone, greeting clients when they arrive and scanning records and correspondence into our document management system.
