We’re looking for an enthusiastic and hands‑on individual to join our team as an Apprentice Live Events Technician. This is a fantastic entry‑level opportunity for someone passionate about the live events industry, offering real‑world experience alongside experienced technicians while earning experience and knowledge.

What You’ll Do

  • You’ll gain hands‑on experience in both warehouse and on‑site environments, learning the full lifecycle of professional production equipment.
  • Warehouse Operations: Prepare, test, clean, and organise equipment for hire and company projects. Assist with checking gear in/out, basic maintenance, repairs, and stock management (full training provided). Maintain a safe, efficient, and organised warehouse.
  • On‑Site Project Support: Help set up and deliver live events, including sound systems, lighting fixtures and controls, staging, truss, power distribution, and cabling. Work as part of a crew to load in/out equipment safely and efficiently. Support smooth event execution under the guidance of senior technicians.

What We’re Looking For

  • A genuine passion for live events, production, conferences, technical theatre, or related fields.
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills (Grade 4/C or above in English and Maths preferred but not essential).
  • Willingness to undertake physical work and handle equipment safely.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and occasional travel to event sites (full UK driving licence desirable but not required – we’ll support you if needed).
  • Strong communication, attention to detail, teamwork, and a positive attitude.
  • No previous experience required – we’re looking for motivation and a desire to learn in our industry!
