The Council is keen to develop new ways of working to maximise the efficiency and performance of our corporate assets to enable the effective delivery of our front‑line services. We are looking for a highly motivated, resilient Facilities Management Technical Team Lead who will play a key role in our small team to shape the delivery of corporate asset facilities and utilities management services across our property portfolio.
Key Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Strong expertise in facilities management and people management.
- Proven experience in managing utilities.
- Effective negotiation and leadership skills to drive relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong analytical abilities to oversee asset data and inform key decisions.
- A qualification in Facilities Management, Building Compliance, Building Surveying or Asset Management (or working towards); alternatively, have extensive relevant demonstrable experience and be willing to work towards a qualification within a 2‑year period of commencement of the role.
