We have partnered with one of the world's largest mid-tier networks of audit, tax and consulting firms, known for its strong growth and expanding market presence. As a result of consistent growth, increased client demand and high-profile M&A Tax appointments, they are now seeking M&A Tax Managers to join their teams across Bristol, Cambridge, Gatwick, Guildford, London, Reading and Southampton.

About The Role:

You will work closely with a regional Transactions Tax Partner and make a significant contribution towards the overall future development and success of the Transactions Tax offering. You will have high levels of responsibility alongside the satisfaction of managing a variety of interesting and challenging projects across different industries. You'll also be operating closely with the Corporate Finance Department and utilising the firm’s international network. You will be at the forefront of Transactions Tax advisory work.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Managing an exciting variety of M&A tax projects.
  • Providing tax structuring advice across pre- and post-transaction phases to deliver tax-efficient outcomes for clients.
  • Demonstrating your expertise in writing technical descriptions of the client’s projects to include in the reports.
  • Supporting in strategic targeting and business development activity, particularly in the private equity space, working in collaboration with the Transactions Tax Partner.
  • You will be a people manager taking an active role in individuals’ training and career development via on-the-job coaching, delivering formal training, and career conversations.
  • Researching and preparing proposals for new work, as well as taking an active role in presentations to prospective clients.

What We Are Looking For:

  • You must hold the right to work in the UK without requiring visa sponsorship.
  • CTA or ATII qualified is preferred or equivalent, ideally along with an accounting qualification such as ACA or ACCA.
  • Previous experience operating at Assistant Manager or Manager level.
  • Good knowledge of Transactions Tax, in a specialist capacity or as a Corporate Tax professional.
