We're working with an established accountancy firm looking to appoint an ambitious Corporate International Tax Director to play a key leadership role in the continued growth of its Corporate Tax practice in London.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Corporate Tax professional who enjoys delivering complex advisory work, building strong client relationships and contributing to the growth of a successful tax practice.
What makes this opportunity particularly attractive is the clearly defined pathway to Partner level within the next few years.
The position is predominantly advisory-led, offering the opportunity to take ownership of complex projects, work closely with senior stakeholders and play an important role in shaping the future of the Corporate Tax offering.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver complex corporate tax advisory projects across a broad client base, including owner-managed businesses (OMBs), large corporates and international groups.
- Act as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders, developing long-term client relationships and delivering commercially focused tax solutions.
- Take ownership of significant tax advisory projects, managing scope, risk, budgets and delivery.
- Drive business development through professional networking, client engagement and identifying new advisory opportunities.
- Contribute to the strategy, continued development and growth of the Corporate Tax service line.
- Lead, mentor and develop teams, fostering a collaborative and advisory-focused working environment.
- Work closely with Partners and colleagues across other service lines to deliver integrated solutions to clients.
What We're Looking For:
We're interested in speaking with ambitious Corporate Tax professionals who are ready to take on a senior leadership position and have a genuine desire to progress towards Partnership.
Ideally, you'll bring:
- Experience as a Corporate Tax Director or a Senior Manager ready to progress into a Director-level position.
- Strong corporate tax advisory experience, with the confidence to lead complex projects and manage senior client relationships.
- Experience working with corporate clients, including exposure to international groups.
- A commercially focused approach and a genuine interest in business development.
- A professional qualification such as CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent.
- Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
- The ambition and commitment to progress towards Partner level.
Why Consider This Opportunity?
