Our client\βs Corporate International Tax team is currently looking for a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager who is looking to transition into Corporate International Tax!
- Extensive advisory experience is not required, making this an excellent opportunity for professionals with a compliance background to gain valuable exposure to advisory work
- No previous Corporate International Tax experience required
- You can have a mixed portfolio of tax, as long as you\βve had 1 β 2 years of UK Corporate Tax experience
- The Corporate International Tax team has experienced rapid growth in recent years
- Support the delivery of complex and high-value advisory projects
- Supporting the Corporate International Tax team in delivering high-quality advisory services to a broad portfolio of clients across multiple sectors β including listed multinationals, private equity-backed businesses, and privately owned companies β many of which are headquartered in the UK or internationally, with a notable focus on the USA
- Working closely with the Shared Service Centre and the broader corporate tax team (comprising approximately 35β40 professionals) to prepare UK corporate tax computations and returns
- Spending approximately 60β70% of your time focused on advisory work, with the remainder involving some compliance-related tasks
- Taking ownership of your professional development by building a strong foundation in corporate international tax
- Demonstrating a proactive mindset, eagerness to learn, and a strong drive to grow into a well-rounded tax advisor
- Benefiting from comprehensive technical training and hands-on experience designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to advance your career
- Contributing to a collaborative and growth-focused environment where curiosity, commitment, and continuous improvement are valued
- A strong interest in UK corporation tax, particularly the areas most relevant to large international businesses
- Awareness of corporate tax advisory services; prior experience is beneficial but not essential
- Enthusiasm for drafting technical tax advice across a variety of client scenarios, including: UK hybrid rules, pillar 2, loan relationships, intangible fixed assets, chargeable gains analysis and tax due diligence and structuring reports
- Someone who excels at building strong relationships and establishing rapport with clients and colleagues alike
