Own the creation of Cannamedical Britannia UK. You are accountable for turning a market opportunity into a licensed, operating, growing business β€” strategy, P&L, people, and the external face of the company.

What you'll do:

  • Set and own the UK strategy, business plan and P&L, in alignment with the Semdor Pharma Group.
  • Drive the UK licensing and regulatory process to completion, working with authorities such as the Home Office and the MHRA.
  • Select, brief and manage the external consultants and advisers β€” legal, regulatory, quality and finance β€” who support the launch.
  • Build the UK team from the ground up β€” hire, lead and develop the founding team, starting with the Operations Manager and Business Developer, and plan the next hires.
  • Represent Cannamedical Britannia UK to regulators, partners, clinicians, investors and press.
  • Build the senior relationships β€” clinical networks, distribution partners, industry bodies β€” that open the market.
  • Establish the UK entity's governance, finance and reporting in step with the group.
  • Make the early, high-stakes calls on pace, priorities and risk as the business stands up.

What you bring:

  • Senior leadership experience, ideally including a general management, country-launch or P&L-owning role.
  • A background in pharma, healthcare, life sciences or another highly regulated industry; medical cannabis experience is a strong plus.
  • A real feel for the UK market and its regulatory and commercial landscape.
  • Proven ability to build from zero β€” you have started or scaled something, not only run an established operation.
  • Comfort operating as the link between an entrepreneurial UK team and a German group HQ.
  • Calm, decisive leadership and the credibility to be the face of the company.

Why this role:

Country Manager roles that are genuinely greenfield β€” the licence, your team, your playbook β€” are rare. This one comes with the resources of an established group and a mission you can feel good about. You will look back on this as the business you built.
