Your mission:
- Set and own the UK strategy, business plan and P&L, in alignment with the Semdor Pharma Group.
- Drive the UK licensing and regulatory process to completion, working with authorities such as the Home Office and the MHRA.
- Select, brief and manage the external consultants and advisers — legal, regulatory, quality and finance — who support the launch.
- Build the UK team from the ground up — hire, lead and develop the founding team, starting with the Operations Manager and Business Developer, and plan the next hires.
- Represent Cannamedical Britannia UK to regulators, partners, clinicians, investors and press.
- Build the senior relationships — clinical networks, distribution partners, industry bodies — that open the market.
- Establish the UK entity's governance, finance and reporting in step with the group.
- Make the early, high-stakes calls on pace, priorities and risk as the business stands up.
Your profile:
- Senior leadership experience, ideally including a general management, country-launch or P&L-owning role.
- A background in pharma, healthcare, life sciences or another highly regulated industry; medical cannabis experience is a strong plus.
- A real feel for the UK market and its regulatory and commercial landscape.
- Proven ability to build from zero — you have started or scaled something, not only run an established operation.
- Comfort operating as the link between an entrepreneurial UK team and a German group HQ.
- Calm, decisive leadership and the credibility to be the face of the company.
