Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Required for September 2026

32.50 hours per week, 39 weeks per year - term time plus 5 inset days. 08:15am - 15:15 with a 30-minute lunch break.

Scale 5 and Spine point 9-12 depending on experience £27,254.00 - £28,598.00 per annum (FTE) Actual Salary £20,521.53 - £21,533.52

Are you passionate about making a difference for all children? We are seeking an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team of HLTAs, who provide whole class teaching for PPA cover and short-term absence, across the school. Our HLTA’s deliver general class support, including the delivery of specific interventions, when not covering whole classes. Experience would be preferred.

As the duties of this post involve regular contact with children, any offer to the successful candidates will be conditional upon an Enhanced Disclosure being obtained via the Disclosure and Barring Service. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974). Our successful candidate will also be health checked and references will be requested before appointment; the post is permanent and is subject to a satisfactory probation period.
