Do you want to make a real difference every day? Cann Bridge School is seeking a compassionate, organised and proactive Health & Care Assistant to join our dedicated team in a newly created whole-school role.
About Us
Cann Bridge School is a vibrant and nurturing specialist school for children and young people aged 3–19 with SLD or PMLD, proudly serving families across Plymouth, Devon and Cornwall.
The Role
You’ll support pupils with complex medical and personal care needs, helping them access learning safely, confidently and with dignity. Working closely with class teams, families and external professionals, you’ll play a vital part in our whole-school health provision.
Hours & Contract
- Permanent, term-time only (39 weeks)
- 29.25 hours per week
- Mon: 9:15–4:00 | Tue–Fri: 9:15–3:30
Pay
£18,222 – £20,071 actual salary (£26,824 – £29,540 FTE)

February 2026 (or soon after)
