Are you a hands-on engineer with a passion for sustainability and problem-solving? We're looking for a Field-Based Service Engineer to help deliver carbon-neutral solutions across Scotland. You'll join a supportive team working on cutting-edge biomass steam boiler systems, helping to maintain, repair, and optimise performance on-site.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Travel to client sites across Scotland (some overnight stays required)
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on biomass steam boilers
- Perform fault-finding, servicing, and equipment repairs
- Maintain accurate records using a computerised maintenance system
- Ensure high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance
- Support customer relationships with clear, confident communication
What You'll Need:
- HND or time-served apprenticeship in mechanical/electrical engineering
- At least 2 years' industrial engineering experience (electrical bias preferred)
- Field service or multi-site maintenance experience
- Full UK driving licence
- A flexible, hands-on approach and strong problem-solving skills
- Bonus points for experience with steam boilers, biomass systems, or PLCs.
