Canmore Recruitment

Some jobs have you fitting the same three bolts on a line all day. This one doesn't.
You'll be working across a genuine mix of electronic, electro mechanical and mechanical assembly, everything from wiring and hand soldering to cable harnessing, welding and precision fitting. If you like knowing your work has to be right first time, and you take pride in holding a tolerance rather than guessing at it, this is built for you.
Our client is a well-established manufacturer, known for precision work that ends up in some genuinely demanding environments. They've built a reputation on getting the detail right, and they need someone who already knows the difference between assembling something and assembling it properly.
What you'll be doing:
Carrying out a variety of assembly operations on components, sub-assemblies and finished units, working to blueprint specifications throughout Determining the right method and sequence for the job in front of you, then setting up and adjusting equipment to hold tight tolerances Wiring, soldering, cable harnessing and welding as the build demands, spotting and correcting your own errors before they become someone else's problem
What you'll bring: Three to five years of hands-on assembly experience in a similar environment Full working knowledge of assembly techniques and the confidence to apply it without needing instructions for routine work Comfortable in a manufacturing setting, on your feet, moving around the floor, lifting where required and following PPE requirements without being told twice
You'll be trusted with new lines of work once you've proven yourself on the routine stuff, and you'll be dealing directly with colleagues across the business rather than being kept in a corner.
This is a role for someone who wants ownership of their bench, not just a seat at it. TPBN1_UKTJ
