Quality Engineer | Dundee | Permanent | circa £40k - £45k

We're working with a global manufacturing business that supplies into a range of highly regulated sectors, delivering precision-engineered products used worldwide.

They're now looking to add a Quality Engineer to their Dundee site to support product quality, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.

The Role

As a Quality Engineer, you'll

Oversee product and process quality across manufacturing, suppliers, and customers.

Carry out inspections, audits, and compliance checks in line with ISO9001/AS standards.

Lead root cause investigations and corrective/preventive action activities.

Support New Product Introduction projects, ensuring quality is built into processes.

Analyse quality data and identify opportunities for improvement.

Liaise with suppliers and customers to resolve quality concerns.

About You

Background in Quality Engineering or Assurance within a manufacturing environment.

Strong understanding of ISO9001 (knowledge of AS9100 desirable).

Skilled in root cause analysis, CAPA, and quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, and MSA.

Excellent communication and problem-solving ability.

Ideally qualified in Six Sigma/Lean or as an Internal Auditor.
