We're working with a global manufacturing business that supplies into a range of highly regulated sectors, delivering precision-engineered products used worldwide. They're now looking to add a Quality Engineer to their Dundee site to support product quality, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
The Role
- Oversee product and process quality across manufacturing, suppliers, and customers.
- Carry out inspections, audits, and compliance checks in line with ISO9001/AS standards.
- Lead root cause investigations and corrective/preventive action activities.
- Support New Product Introduction projects, ensuring quality is built into processes.
- Analyse quality data and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Liaise with suppliers and customers to resolve quality concerns.
About You
- Background in Quality Engineering or Assurance within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of ISO9001 (knowledge of AS9100 desirable).
- Skilled in root cause analysis, CAPA, and quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, and MSA.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving ability.
- Ideally qualified in Six Sigma/Lean or as an Internal Auditor.
