Manufacturing Engineer | North Lanarkshire | Permanent | £38k – £45k We are delighted to be working alongside this international engineering group to recruit a Manufacturing Engineer for their North Lanarkshire facility. This excellent business provides complex solutions for prominent clients in high-tech industries. With locations strategically placed near key customers across the globe, the company leverages extensive expertise in fabrication, machining, and global supply chains to support the manufacture and repair of advanced components used in critical applications. The Role Reporting to the Engineering Manager, as a Manufacturing Engineer youll play a key role in advancing precision engineering solutions, helping refine processes, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies. Plan methods, create stage drawings, and produce technical documentation. Develop and verify NC programs across various engineering disciplines. Drive component development, validation, and select inspection gauges. Design tooling and fixtures using 3D modelling software. Provide shop floor troubleshooting and support RCA activities. Collaborate with customers on dimensional alleviation needs. Conduct SPC capability analysis and reporting for part portfolios. Participate in LEAN activities and champion continuous improvement. You A time-served professional with 4+ years in offline CNC programming across disciplines like turning and milling, ideally using Edgecam. Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes and engineering principles. Strong problem-solving abilities, including RCA, SPC, and RFT application. Effective at managing priorities with a results-focused approach. Skilled in interpreting engineering drawings, tolerances, and specifications. Inspires confidence and brings innovative solutions to the team. Additionally, any of the following experience would be advantageous: HNC/HND in Engineering or related field.
