It is hands on, analytical work where your diagnosis genuinely matters to the customer on the other end.

The business behind this role is a respected name in a technically demanding, highly regulated field.

They supply some of the largest operators and manufacturers in their sector, and they have earned that position by doing the difficult work properly.

You will be joining a team where quality and precision are the whole point, not an afterthought.

This is a shift based position.

You will rotate every two weeks between dayshift and backshift, and there is a 10% shift allowance on top of salary to recognise the early starts and later finishes.

What you will be doing: Performing aftermarket repairs on a variety of components and instruments Testing and troubleshooting equipment to confirm faults Analysing failures and identifying the genuine root cause Working to the standards expected in a tightly regulated environment What you will need: An HNC or HND in Electronic Engineering A solid grasp of electronic principles Confidence using testing tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes Strong analytical thinking and a real eye for detail The ability to stay sharp in a busy, changing environment In return you get more than just an interesting technical challenge.

The package includes: A pension plan Life assurance 25 days holiday plus public holidays A 10% shift allowance Access to a range of wellbeing and employee discount schemes This is a good fit if you are someone who takes pride in fixing things properly and wants your technical ability to count for something.

If you have the electronics background and you enjoy the detective side of repair and fault finding, this one is worth a closer look.
