This is a broad, genuinely influential role with a precision engineering business that supplies some of the biggest names in global manufacturing. You'll be responsible for keeping a complex, high-hazard site safe and compliant, but the scope goes well beyond traditional HSE. You'll also be leading continuous improvement activity across the site and overseeing facilities management.

What the role involves:

  • Ensuring compliance with HSE legislation and company standards, including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
  • Leading hazard identification, risk assessments, and safe systems of work
  • Managing incident investigations and driving sustainable corrective actions
  • Developing and delivering HSE training, building a proactive safety culture at all levels
  • Designing and executing continuous improvement plans using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies
  • Leading cross-functional CI projects focused on productivity, quality, and efficiency
  • Overseeing day-to-day facilities operations including maintenance, utilities, and workplace services
  • Driving energy efficiency, waste reduction, and carbon footprint initiatives
  • Managing vendor relationships, service contracts, and facilities budgets

What you'll need:

  • NEBOSH Diploma and CMIOSH status, or working towards it
  • Lean or Six Sigma certification is a strong advantage
  • Solid grounding in HSE legislation and risk assessment in a high hazard environment
  • Facilities management experience covering compliance, maintenance, and sustainability
  • The leadership and influencing skills to drive cultural change across a site
  • A background in manufacturing, engineering, or similarly complex operational environments

This isn't a box-ticking compliance role. The business wants someone who'll drive genuine improvement in safety culture, in operational efficiency, and in the physical environment people work in every day. If that sounds like your kind of challenge, press Apply.
