Are you a hands-on engineer with a passion for sustainability and problem-solving? We're looking for a Field-Based Service Engineer to help deliver carbon-neutral solutions across Scotland. You'll join a supportive team working on cutting-edge biomass steam boiler systems, helping to maintain, repair, and optimise performance on-site.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Travel to client sites across Scotland (some overnight stays required)
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on biomass steam boilers
  • Perform fault-finding, servicing, and equipment repairs
  • Maintain accurate records using a computerised maintenance system
  • Ensure high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance
  • Support customer relationships with clear, confident communication

What You'll Need:

  • HND or time-served apprenticeship in mechanical/electrical engineering
  • At least 2 years' industrial engineering experience (electrical bias preferred)
  • Field service or multi-site maintenance experience
  • Full UK driving licence
  • A flexible, hands-on approach and strong problem-solving skills
  • Bonus points for experience with steam boilers, biomass systems, or PLCs.
