If you have design and project management experience and you are looking for a new challenge, read on! We have an exciting opportunity for you to join a global manufacturing company based in Fife. They are looking for two talented engineers to join their team and work on the design and costing of innovative systems from scratch.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will report to the Engineering Manager and be responsible for the following tasks:
- Create cost, delivery and technical proposals for quotes.
- Offer technical support to production, sales and external clients.
- Design products and assess their feasibility.
- Choose and specify components for quotes.
- Producing and maintaining manufacturing documents and contributing to process optimisation.
- Plan and organise projects and review their progress.
- Coordinate and communicate with all project stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Be the main technical contact for customers (development projects).
To be considered for this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:
- HND / Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience of using Autodesk Inventor or similar CAD tools (preferred).
- Ability to manage complex and unique projects with diverse technology requirements within tight deadlines and to the highest standards of customer satisfaction.
