We're recruiting for a long-established commercial vehicle body building business, part of a wider engineering group, with over 30 years experience delivering high-quality builds and conversions across Central Scotland. The workshop is busy, standards are high, and the work is varied.
What The Role Actually InvolvesYou’ll be involved in the build, conversion and fit-out of commercial vehicle bodies, working on everything from drop-side and box vans through to internal fit-outs and mobile cabins. Day to day, you’ll be trusted to:
- Carry out all aspects of coachbuilding and vehicle body assembly
- Build and fit drop-side and box van bodies
- Install internal racking systems and complete internal finishing
- Carry out light fabrication and welding work where required
- Take pride in build quality, finish and durability
This is a practical, workshop-based role suited to someone who enjoys variety and tangible results from their work.
