Our client, a growing supplier of high-reliability products and services for the offshore sector, is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Bids and Proposals Coordinator to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and managing engineering tenders, bids, and proposals. You will collaborate closely with technical teams, sales representatives, and management to ensure submissions are both technically accurate and visually engaging.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and manage the end-to-end bid and proposal process, from initial opportunity assessment to final submission.
- Work closely with engineers and technical specialists to compile accurate and compelling technical content.
- Format, edit, and design documents to ensure they meet client requirements and reflect the company's branding.
- Develop timelines and track progress to ensure all deadlines are met.
- Liaise with internal departments to gather necessary information and approvals.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with client specifications.
- Maintain a library of proposal templates, past submissions, and supporting materials.
- Support the creation of presentations and supporting documents for bid interviews.
- Previous experience in a bids, proposals, or technical writing role, ideally within the engineering or manufacturing sector.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with desktop publishing software (e.g., Adobe InDesign) is an advantage.
