Role Overview

Canmoor is seeking a driven, ambitious, and entrepreneurial Asset Manager to join our London Office. This full-time role is ideally suited to an individual in the early stages of their real estate career who is eager to gain broad exposure across

Asset Management, Development, and Investment work streams within a rapidly expanding commercial portfolio.

Working closely with the team, you will support the strategic and operational delivery of assets, contribute to value-enhancing initiatives, and gain hands-on experience across leasing, occupier engagement, development, and investment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation and delivery of asset business plans to enhance income, occupancy and long-term value.
  • Assist in the execution of lease events including renewals, rent reviews and re-gears under senior guidance.
  • Work with leading leasing agents to monitor enquiries, track viewings and support negotiations.
  • Build positive relationships with occupiers, managing day-to-day communication and deal delivery.
  • Co-ordinate with managing agents to ensure all assets are well maintained, compliant, and professionally presented.
  • Assist in reviewing service charge budgets, maintenance schedules and help manage operational actions.
  • Assist with preparation of reporting decks, board papers, and investor updates.
  • Support the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and regular asset performance updates.
  • Support due diligence for acquisitions and disposals - including data room review, lease analysis, and financial modelling.
  • Assist with onboarding newly acquired assets into the operational portfolio.
  • Assist with feasibility studies, viability analysis, and initial development appraisals.

Qualifications & Experience

MRICS Qualified Chartered Surveyor preferred; ideally with

1-3 years PQE.

  • Strong understanding of the

UK industrial & logistics (I&L) sector.

  • Strong grasp of asset management fundamentals (leases, service charges etc.).
  • Transactional experience within I&L markets is beneficial.
  • Prior exposure to development and/or investment would be advantageous, but not essential.

  • Commercially aware, with problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.
  • Driven, innovative and commercially astute – motivated to chase transactions through to completion.
  • Tenacious, resilient, adaptable, and enthusiastic, with a strong will to succeed.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build rapport with occupiers and stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial, fast‑paced environment.
  • Team player willing to be hands‑on and take ownership of tasks.
  • Proficient in Excel; willingness to learn new systems (e. g., Argus Developer) where appropriate.
  • Full UK driving licence.
